Description
This VASAGLE bookcase combines four open shelves with a two-door lower cupboard in a 74 cm wide frame. Rustic-brown wood-effect panels and a black steel structure give it an industrial look while mixing display space with concealed storage.
Use the height without taking over the wall
The unit measures approximately 74 cm wide, 30 cm deep and 154.5 cm high. The relatively shallow depth can suit a living room or home office, but check your largest books, files and storage boxes against the shelf depth rather than relying on the external dimensions alone.
Open shelves above, closed storage below
Four open tiers keep frequently used items visible while the lower cupboard hides less decorative essentials. The shelves and doors are engineered wood rather than solid timber. Adjustable feet help level the steel frame on slightly uneven floors.
A tall narrow unit should be secured as instructed. Use the supplied anti-tip hardware with fixings appropriate to your wall and keep heavier items lower down.

Plan the cupboard in its open position
Mark the complete footprint and check what sits in front of the lower doors. A nearby desk chair or sofa can prevent a cupboard from opening fully even when the unit fits against the wall. Compare your largest box with both the internal compartment and the door opening.
Use our open shelves versus cupboard bookcase guide to compare this mixed layout with fully open shelving. For books and files, check usable shelf depth and opening height; the 30 cm external depth is not a promise of 30 cm clear space inside.
