Description
The SONGMICS OBN047B01 is a mesh-backed swivel office chair designed for a home-office setup where adjustable support and the ability to tuck the chair closer to the desk are useful. It combines a padded 53 cm seat with flip-up armrests, an adjustable headrest and lumbar support.
Seat height and desk fit
The manufacturer lists an adjustable seat height of approximately 46–54 cm. Compare that range with your own desk height and working position rather than assuming a chair described as ergonomic will suit everyone.
Flip-up arms can save space
The armrests fold upward, helping the chair slide further beneath some desks. Check the desk underside and any drawer units because the base and backrest still determine the full footprint.
Mesh back with adjustable support
The chair has a breathable mesh back, adjustable lumbar support and an adjustable headrest. The rocking range is around 90–105 degrees rather than a deep recline.
Plan the floor area
The chair is approximately 64 cm wide and deep at the base, with an overall height around 115–130 cm depending on adjustment. Allow room for the five-castor base to move without hitting cabinets or walls.
