Description
The Dalton is a wide, low TV cabinet that combines a black frame with natural wood-effect cupboard fronts. Its chevron detailing adds interest without relying on bright colour, making it an option to consider alongside plain upholstered seating or other black-framed furniture.
Storage you can see, and storage you can close away
Two cupboards flank the open central section. The centre shelf gives media equipment an accessible position, while the closed compartments can keep remotes, cables and less decorative items out of sight. The manufacturer describes cable openings at the rear of the open section.
Measure the television, not just the screen diagonal
The cabinet measures 150 cm wide, 39 cm deep and 50 cm high. VonHaus lists it for televisions up to 65 inches, but that is not a substitute for checking the spacing of your television’s feet and its weight. Keep the feet fully supported and follow the cabinet and television manufacturers’ loading and ventilation instructions.
Materials and assembly
This is wood-effect furniture, not a solid-wood cabinet. VonHaus specifies melamine-faced particleboard with powder-coated steel tubing. Assembly is required. Check that the 39 cm depth accommodates your equipment and its connected plugs, allowing any ventilation clearance the equipment needs.
