Description
The Firbeck set combines a two-leaf dining table with four folding chairs that store inside its central cabinet. It is worth considering when the same room has to accommodate meals, work and everyday movement, rather than remain a full-time dining area.
Open for dinner, smaller between meals
With both leaves raised, the table measures 120 × 80 cm and stands 76 cm high. Its folded footprint is 46 × 80 cm. Either leaf can be used independently, but plan the floor area with the chairs occupied as well as tucked away. The internal chair storage is the defining feature: you do not need a separate corner for four spare seats.
A wood-effect top, not solid timber throughout
VonHaus specifies MDF with a melamine finish and solid wooden legs, in grey and natural wood-effect colours. Assembly is required. Follow the instructions for supporting each leaf and securing the assembled furniture; do not treat an unsupported folded edge as a seat.
